My body told me to get up.
I couldn’t move.
Thirty minutes into the film, I needed the bathroom. Badly. The small civilised need to leave my seat was overruled by something older. Goosebumps ran the full length of my arms, spine, from head to toe. That happens very rarely. Whatever was on that screen had pinned me.
